ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the 1st respondent to conduct a proper investigation by taking steps to attach the properties mentioned in the representation of the petitioners dated 09.01.2025 in respect of the Crime.No.3 of 2023 on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. According to the petitioners, they have sent a representation dated 09.01.2025 by mentioning two properties belongs to the 5th accused, but the same has not been considered by the respondents. Therefore, they have filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that they have received the representation of the petitioners dated 09.01.2025 in respect of the two properties. As far as the property situated at Othakadai is concerned, already a proposal was sent to the Government to attach the property and in respect of the another property situated at Paramathi velur, Namakkal District, they are taking steps and the same is under process. Therefore, they will dispose the petitioners representation dated 09.01.2025 within two weeks. 3/6

According to the respondents, already one of the property mentioned in the representation of the petitioners was considered and the matter was sent to the Government for attaching the property and in respect of the Namakkal District property, the same is under consideration. Therefore, considering the undertaking given by the 1st respondent that they will dispose the representation of the petitioners dated 09.01.2025 within fifteen days, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioners dated 09.01.2025 within two weeks from the date of this order.

5. With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. No costs.
