ORDER
Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has made an application for survey of his lands in Survey Nos. 27/6D and 24/7 situated at Kollukadu Village, Thiruvonam Taluk, Thanjavur District in Patta No. 151 and to consequently fix four boundaries. The petitioner has made an application on 23.12.2024 and followed it up with a representation on 13.01.2025. 3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the application having been made and requisite payment also being made to the authorities, no survey has been conducted till date, despite a reminder that was given on 13.01.2025.
4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 2/4
5.Considering that the petitioner only seeks for disposal of his representation, a direction is issued to the respondent to conduct survey, pursuant to the application of the petitioner, dated 23.12.2024 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is needless to state that any adjacent owners, who may have objections shall also be allowed to participate in the survey proceedings and give their objections, which shall be considered by the respondent before passing final orders.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
