On the direction of this Court, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Land Grabbing, Special Cell, Kanyakumari District, Nagercoil, has filed a counter affidavit, in which, at paragraph 5, he has stated as follows:- "5.Hence the de facto complainant lodged the complaint. On receiving the complaint I summoned the petitioner No.1 and 2 and the said Selvakumar. It is submitted that the petitioner T.Vallithangam and the opposite parties 1)D.Nalchandra Ruby 2)J.Selva Martin appeared on 07.02.15 and 11.02.15 before the respondent office as per the order of Honorable High Court and also enquired both petitioner and the counter petitioner, no Land Grabbing issues made out against the counter petitioner."

2.Thus from what is stated above, it appears that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Land Grabbing. Special Cell, Kanyakumari District, Nagercoil, has closed the complaint against the petitioners.
