ORDER

This petition is filed to release the petitioner on bail in SC No.160 of 2025 on the file of Additional District Judge, Sivagangai in 1/4

connection with Crime No.155/2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Karaikkudi North Police Station, Sivagangai District.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that he monitored the movements of the deceased and informed the co-accused, following which the co-accused chased the deceased and assaulted him with an aruval, resulting in his death .

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is not committed any offence. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to co-operate for the investigation.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor vehemently objected for granting bail that the trial is going on and L.W.1 to L.W.20 witnesses were over and that the petitioner and the co-accused are deliberately not cross-examining the eyewitness.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of offence and the fact that Since bail was declined to the other co-accused by this Court, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
