PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's properties situated in Survey No.1762/9 (old No.1762/3) to an extent of 0.05.93 which comes under the Patta No.884 and the said property is situated at Perunkudi PartII Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court For Petitioner : Mr.R.Anand For R-1 to R-6 : Mr.R.Ragavendran, Government Advocate 1/4

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to survey the subject property based on the representation made by the petitioner on 28.05.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject property and he is in possession and enjoyment of the same. According to the petitioner, he made an application for survey of the land and he had also paid necessary charges. This survey was required for fixing the boundaries. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the application given by the petitioner for survey of the subject property and complete the process within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of 2/4

receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order .

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
