ORDER

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to consider his application for issuance of patta dated 22.03.2022, which has been followed up with several other representations dated 08.03.2024, 28.08.2024 and 18.10.2024.

2. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the officials respondents, on written instructions, would submit that the application of the petitioner is being enquired into and if sufficient time is granted, the authorities would be in a position to pass orders.

5. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application for patta in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
