For Respondent : Mr.R.Sivakumar, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.58 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 509 and 506(i) IPC, in Crime No.58 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that there was previous enmity between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, due to which, the petitioner called the defacto complainant through phone and abusing her in filthy language and threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and she has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

CRL OP(MD). No.3616 of 2022 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the defacto complainant, who is a lady Advocate, has preferred a complaint against the petitioner herein. He would further submit that the investigation is pending. 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also the fact that the investigation is pending as stated by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 22/02/2022 / TRUE COPY / / /2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
