Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give permission to erect "Poo Thatti", which is made from Thermocol sheet and Flowers to the length of 24 x 12 feet to the festival of Arulmighu Puthur Kuzhumayee Amman Kovil at Puthur Agraharam, Trichy to be held from 02.03.2021 to 05.03.2021.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
2.Mr.S.Chandra Sekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondents.
3.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner may be permitted to erect a banner decorated with flowers with the measurement of 24 x 12 feet during the temple festival to be held from 02.03.2021 to 05.03.2021. The petitioner made a representation before the second respondent for getting permission for erection of banner.
4.On the side of the respondents, it is stated that there are various communities residing in that locality and there is a likelihood of communal dispute. Already there are two cases pending and at the peace committee meeting that was held four years ago, it was decided that banners shall not be used during the temple festival.
5.In view of the above submission made on the side of the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
