ORDER: The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.10.2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 5(n), 5(l) r/w 6(1) of POCSO Amendment Act 2019 and Sections 127(2), 351(2), of BNS Act, in Spl.S.C.No.125 of 2025 on the file of the Mahila Court, Pudukkottai in 1/4

connection with the Crime No.22 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail,

2. The prosecution case is that the petitioner had already married and he had sexual intercourse with the victim girl, who is aged about 14 years. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. The petitioner is in custody for more than 113 days. Now the charge sheet has been filed and the trial was commenced. Hence, he seeks bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed. He further submitted that the petitioner has involved in very serious offence. Earlier bail application filed by this Court has also been dismissed. Hence, he strongly objected to the grant of bail to the petitioner. 2/4

5. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This court finds no change of circumstances for the grant of bail.
