The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the tender proceedings of the second respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.11885/2020/MCA5 dated 18.02.2020 for slaughterhouse in Item No.12 situated in Rowdar Palayam Keelavasal, Thanjavur and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to extent the license period to the petitioner for the period of one year on consideration of the corona virus pandemic situation for the period of 2020-2021.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that prayer sought in the present petition has become infructuous. 2/4
3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
