ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the respondent to file the final report in connection with the case in Crime No.4 of 2012, dated 01.03.2012 and proceed with the same as per law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner has earlier filed a petition in Crl.O.P(MD) No.6826 of 2014, seeking direction to secure the accused 2 and 3 in Crime No.4 of 2012 and that this Court vide order, dated 12.09.2019, has directed the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three of months from the date of receipt of copy of that order. He would further submit that the investigation is almost completed and they are going to file the charge sheet shortly.

3. Absolutely, there is no explanation for not filing the final report earlier, in pursuance of the direction of this Court. However, recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal 2/4

Side), the respondent Police is directed to file final report within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
