O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent not harass the petitioner by intervening the subject matter of money dispute.

2. According to the petitioner, there is a business transactions between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent and thereby, there is a money dispute pending between them. For the money dispute, the 3rd respondent lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent and taking advantage of the said complaint, now the 2nd respondent started to harass the petitioner and already the petitioner appeared before the 2nd respondent twice. Therefore, the present petition is filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no. 1 and 2 would submit that so far, they have received four complaints as against the petitioner in respect of the job racketing. Therefore, the matter requires an elaborate enquiry and now, the enquiry is under process by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Trichy. They will complete the enquiry within fifteen days. For enquiry purpose only they called the petitioner and during the enquiry, they have Page No. 2 of 4

not harassed the petitioner as alleged in the petition.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer of the petitioner and based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent, the enquiry is also pending before the respondents, this Court directs the 1st respondent to issue appropriate direction to complete the enquiry by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Trichy within fifteen days from the date of this order.

5. With the above said direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
