PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 439 of Cr.P.C, seeking to release the petitioner/accused on interim bail in C.C.No.220 of 2022 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukottai, in Cr.No.77 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police.

When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is now detained, as a drug offender under Act 14 of 1982 and she has filed a HCP challenging the detention order and it is pending before this Court and thereby, the option available to the petitioner is either to move the Detaining Authority or to move before the Honourable Division Bench of this Court.
