ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's wife of the detenu, namely Vellaimmal, wife of Vellaisamy, aged about 33 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint alleging that his wife was missing before the second respondent. The petitioner also suspected the third respondent. However, the second respondent even register any F.I.R.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the investigation is pending.

4. In view of the above, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to register the F.I.R and complete the investigation within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
