O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 herein to permit the Petitioner to worshipping the Goddess the temples of Kullai Amman Kovil, Bagavathi Amman Kovil, Mariamman Kovil, Manickamalayan Kovil and Perumal Kovil Veedu situated at Muthakapatti Village, Karur District by considering the Petitioner's representation to Respondents 1 and 3 dated 08.12.2025.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 06.02.2026, this Court has passed the following order:

"Notice to the respondents, returnable by 2/6

16.02.2026.

Private notice is also permitted.

Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that respondents 4 to 8 are not permitting the petitioner to worship the goddess due to a private dispute.

3. In view of the above, this Court directs respondents 1 to 3 to ensure that the petitioner is permitted to worship the goddess. If respondents 4 to 7 do not allow the petitioner to enter the temple and worship the goddess, respondents 1 to 3 are directed to file a police complaint and take necessary action for arrest in accordance with the law, and prevent respondents 4 to 7 from entering the temple if they attempt to do so with the intention of creating a quarrel or allowing someone else to enter for that purpose.

4. Post the matter on 16.02.2026."

Pursuant to the direction issued by this Court, the 2nd respondent the Revenue Divisional Officer, Karur has filed a report before this Court in his proceedings in Na.Ka.A2/981/2026, dated 13.02.2026 stating that the petitioner is permitted to worship the goddess and the private respondents have no objection to allow the petitioner to enter into the temple and worship the goddess. 3/6

4. In view of the above, as the petitioner's grievance has already been duly addressed, no further directions are required in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
