ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this application, praying to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner as well as to their family members on the basis of the representation, dated 11.12.2015.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3.The Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the respondent police would give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioners.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submission made by the Government Advocate (criminal side), the respondent police is directed to give police protection only to the life and limb of the petitioners and their family members only for a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above said direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
