Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to regularise the unapproved plots bearing Nos.29, 41 to 44, 61, 66 comprised in S.No.230/1, 2 in Thirunaraiyur Village situated at No.63, Thirunaraiyur Pachayat, Thirunaraiyur Village, Thiruvidaimaruthoor Panchayt Union, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 27.02.2021 vide Registration No.DTCP/L/0997698/2017 within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner wants the third respondent to regularize the petition mentioned unapproved plots. The third respondent vide communication dated 01.11.2023 called upon the petitioner to furnish certain documents and details. It is the specific stand of the petitioner that the grounds on which return was made have since been complied with.

3.The petitioner is permitted to appear before the third respondent on 21.02.2024 at 03.00 pm. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is racing against time and 29.02.2024 is the last date. Therefore, the third respondent shall take a call in the matter and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law on or before 26.02.2024. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 19.02.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias Issue order copy on 19.02.2024.
