PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to withdraw the case in Crime No.274 of 2019 from the file of the second respondent and transfer the same to the file of the third respondent with direction to conduct further investigation and file charge sheet, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to withdraw the case in Crime No.274 of 2019 from the file of the second respondent and transfer the same to the file of the third respondent with a direction to conduct further investigation and to file the charge sheet.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice that if directions are issued to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam, Madurai District to monitor the investigation to be done by the third respondent in Crime No.274 of 2019 and to complete the investigation, within the specified period, respectively.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3277 of 2020 3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thirumangalam, Madurai District, to monitor the investigation to be done by the third respondent herein in Crime No.274 of 2019. The third respondent herein is also directed to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
