ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.419 of 2017 dated 23.12.2017 and file the Final Report within a time frame. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is the Defacto Complainant in Cr.No.419 of 2017 pending on the file of the second Respondent. The Petitioner had filed this Petition seeking a direction against the second Respondent Police to complete the investigation in the case registered in 2017 and file final report. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, submitted that the case was closed as "Mistake of Fact" on 29.01.2018. The referred charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kulithalai and notice was also served on the Petitioner herein. However, he refused to receive the same. Therefore, notice was pasted on the house of the Petitioner in the presence of the Village Administrative Officer.

4.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
