ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner is the daughter of one Venu. However, her initial has been wrongly mentioned as "M"instead of "V" in the secondary School Leave Certificate as well as Higher Secondary Course Certificate. The petitioner wants her initial to be corrected. 2/5

3.The petitioner had studied in the fourth respondent School. The petitioner's request was accepted by the fourth respondent which sent the necessary proposal to the District Educational Officer, Lalgudi. 4.The District Educational Officer, Lalgudi is directed to forward the proposal to the first respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent will then forward the same within a period of three weeks thereafter to the fifth respondent. The fifth respondent is directed to correct the petitioner's initial and issue revised Secondary School Leaving Certificate as well as her Higher Secondary Course Certificate. The entire process will be concluded within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This writ pettioner is allowed on these terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
