PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta to the petitioner for the land and house situated in Pudukkottai District, Kulathur Taluk, Visalur Village in Natham S.F.No.119 for an extent of 7 cents on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2020 within the time frame fixed by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 17.11.2020, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for grant of patta for the subject property.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent on instructions submitted that the enquiry has already been completed and that the decision taken by the respondent will be conveyed to the petitioner within a time frame.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondent to convey the decision to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
