ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2017 regarding enhancement of compensation for the acquisition of land in S.No. 25(1-A) of Appuvilai Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner's land has been acquired by the first respondent for the purpose of laying MH89. Subsequently, award has also been passed. Not being satisfied with the award, the petitioner has made an application before the first respondent on 15.04.2017 for enhancement of compensation. The first respondent, in turn, directed the second respondent to consider the petitioner's claim. The second respondent, by the proceedings dated 26.04.2017, informed the petitioner that his application is under consideration. Since no order has been passed till date, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending nearly for one year, the second respondent is directed to

consider the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
