The petitioner is presently working as Assistant in the office of the third respondent. The next promotion is that of Deputy Block Development Officer. The petitioner has not yet been considered so far for the said promotion. But, his junior had stolen march over the petitioner. In this regard, he has given representation dated 18.08.2017.

2.The third respondent is directed to pass orders thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
