ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner direct the 3rd respondent to conduct further investigation in Crime No.28 of 2025 on the supervision of the 2nd respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant and based on the complaint given by him, a case was registered in Crime No.28 of 2025 on the file of the 3rd respondent and the same is now under investigation. Already, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 27.01.2025 for the death of his younger son who died on 19.01.2025 in a suspicious manner and the same has not been considered by the respondents. Therefore, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, they registered a case in Crime No.28 of 2025 for the offence under Section 194 of BNSS, 2023 and the same in under investigation. In the meantime, the petitioner sent a representation dated 27.01.2025 and they will consider the representation of the petitioner and will conduct fair investigation.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials on record.

In view of the above said submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, it is appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.01.2025 and conduct fair investigation.. The 2nd respondent / District Superintendent of Police, Thiruchuli, Thirunelveli District is directed to supervise the investigation of the 3rd respondent in this case. Accordingly ordered.

6. In view of the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
