This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigating agency in respect of the case in Crime No.67 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent police to some other police station.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that the respondent police completed the investigation in Crime No.67 of 2020 and filed charge-sheet on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur and the same has also been taken cognizance in C.C.No.35 of 2022 and it is pending for trial. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
