Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life of the petitioner. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Aathiyan For Respondents 1 and 2 : Mr.A.Robinson Government Advocate (Criminal Side)

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to provide police protection to the life of the petitioner.

2.The main grievance of the petitioner is that though she filed a complaint before the second respondent contending that she has been physically attacked by her own grandson on 22.02.2021, no action was taken by the second respondent.

3.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the petitioner's representation was registered in C.No.90/SP/GDP/SDO-U/2021 and is posted for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3042 of 2021 3.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner, based on findings and on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents. 4.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
