PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Anti-Land Grabbing Special Cell, Thoothukudi District not to harass the petitioners by compelling them to re-convey the properties comprised in a settlement deed dated 12.10.2021 registered vide Doc.No.1478 of 2021 in favor of the 3rd respondent. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Anti-Land Grabbing Special Cell, Thoothukudi District not to harass the petitioners by compelling them to re-convey the properties comprised in a settlement deed dated 12.10.2021 registered vide Doc.No.1478 of 2021 in favor of the 3rd respondent.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 21.02.2022. The same is recorded.

3. It is made clear, now that the complaint has been closed, the respondent shall not call the petitioner in the guise of enquiry and harass him.
