PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 disburse the compensation amount available with the 4th respondent which is payable to the petitioners by virtue of acquisition of lands situated in Survey Nos.142/5 and 142/6 of Alagapuri Village, Marugapuri Taluk, Trichirappalli District upon consideration of the representation dated 18.11.2020.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to pay compensation amount to the petitioners with respect to the lands that were acquired. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 submitted the report given by the fourth respondent to the third respondent dated 29.06.2022.

3.In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to convey the decision taken by the fourth respondent to the second petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
