Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner (Roll No.19PGC13200104) in the selection list of the candidates for appointment to the post of Computer Science Instructor, Grade I (Post Graduate Cadre) in accordance with the marks and roaster in the selection process of the direct recruitment of Computer Science Instructor Grade I (Post Graduate Cadre) for the year 2018-2019. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner (Roll No.19PGC13200104) in the selection list of the candidates for appointment to the post of Computer Science Instructor, Grade I (Post Graduate Cadre) in accordance with the 2/6
marks and roaster in the selection process of the direct recruitment of Computer Science Instructor Grade I (Post Graduate Cadre) for the year 2018-2019.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a physically challenged person and he suffered from locomotor disability and he participated in the selection process for the post of Computer Science Instructor Grade-I. However, he was not selected. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
3. The learned counsel for the first respondent would submit that in respect of BC women locomoto disability, the cut-off marks is 80.83, whereas, the petitioner secured only 79.89 marks. Hence, he was not selected for the said post.
4. In view of the above, since the petitioner secured lessor marks than the cut-off mark, this writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to participate in the next selection 3/6
process. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
