ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 29.08.2017 and 02.02.2018 and to direct the respondent not to establish the retail liquor shop at D.No.6/240 D1, Railway Feeder Road, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that as on today, the respondent has no proposal to start TASMAC shop in the above said property and he has also produced a letter written by the respondent dated 07.02.2018 to that effect.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P(MD)No.2787 of 2018 is closed.
