This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission to perform the program of 'Adal Padal' on 14.01.2018 night at about 06.00 p.m to 12.00 am at Arulmigu Amman Kovil situated at East Vayalogam, Vayalogam Post, Illuppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programs such as Áadal Padal Programme', likewise, from 6.00 p.m. till 12.00 a.m. on 14.01.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that, they have already given a representation dated 03.01.2018 to the respondent and no order has been passed till now. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent has not raised any serious objection. 4.The respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 10.01.2018.
