This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission to perform of cultural programme (Isai Nigalchi) to be celebrated on 11.02.2018 on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 06.02.2018 in connection with the temple festival at Arulmigu Theerampalayam Sri Mariamman Kovil, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting "Isai Nigalchi" programme such as cultural programme, on 11.02.2018. They have decided to celebrate the festival at the above said place and for that they have already given a representation dated 06.02.2018 to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has not raised any serious objection. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 06.02.2018 and dispose of the same at early by keeping in mind the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Church of God (Full Gospel) in India Vs. K.K.R, Majestic Colony Welfare Association and Ors, reported in 2001 - 1 - L.W. (Crl.) 233.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
