Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent herein to grant permission and adequate protection to conduct Kabbadi Tournament Scheduled to be held on 15.01.2018 in Vannivelampatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District conducted by the petitioner's Kabbadi group namely Surya Kabbadi Group by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2017. This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to grant permission and adequate protection to conduct Kabbadi Tournament Scheduled to be held on 15.01.2018 in Vannivelampatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District conducted by the petitioner's Kabbadi group namely Surya Kabbadi Group by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted Kabadi Tournament. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has proposal to conduct kabadi Tournament on 15.01.2018 and for that, he gave a representation on 30.12.2017 to the respondent, but, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents.

3.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 30.12.2017 and dispose of the same on or before 10.01.2018. 5.with the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
