ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders,to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family members by considering the representation, dated 07.02.2023.

2. Admittedly, the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 6 are family members.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.41 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 323 IPC; that on the basis of the complaint given by the sixth respondent, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.42 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 323 IPC and that the investigation is pending. Subsequently, the petitioner has given a representation for police protection. 2/4

He would further submit that the property was being enjoyed by the sixth respondent and there existed civil dispute between the parties and hence, the petitioner has given the representation for police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family members. He would also submit that the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2023, is pending before the third respondent.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.02.2023 and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
