ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.10.2017 to remove her brother's name, one Chelladurai from the Patta No.604 in respect of house-site property in Survey No.91/8 situated at Pilaviduthi, Karambakudi Taluk and Post, Pudukkottai District.

2.According to the petitioner, originally, the property stands in the names of the petitioner and her brother. Since the petitioner's brother's whereabouts is not known to the petitioner, the petitioner has given application 11.10.2017 to the respondents to remove the name of her brother from the revenue records relating to the above said property. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 11.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
