ORDER

Seeking to transfer the Investigation in crime No.552 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent to any other higher officer under the direct supervision of the 1st respondent, this criminal original petition is filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is the defacto complainant on whose instance F.I.R in Crime No.552 of 2025 was registered by the 2nd respondent police for the offences under Section 194 of BNSS, 2023 regarding suspicious death of the petitioner's minor daughter. Since there is no progress in the investigation, this petitioner has come before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that post mortem report and viscera report is awaited. However, as far as the investigation is concerned, it reveals that the child was already seriously ill when she was dropped off at school. During the course of the day, her condition worsened significantly. The parents were promptly 2/5

informed, and she was taken to the hospital for further treatment. However, the child passed away while being transported.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and apprise the progress of the investigation to the the 1st respondent every Friday. Further the the 1st respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the 2nd respondent.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
