PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to to direct the second respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.97 of 2013. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Gokulraj For Respondents 1 and 2 : Mr.R.Erottuchamy Government Advocate (Criminal Side)

ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.97 of 2013. 2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the investigation in Crime No.97 of 2013 is underway and prayed for two months time to file a final report.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.97 of 2013, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
