O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction, to direct the respondents herein to grant permission to the temple festival to be held on 19.02.2025 in pursuant to the ''Masi Festival'' in ''Arulmigu Sri Anagala Eswari Amman and Parivara Theivangal Temple'' situated at Alagapuri, Balapatti Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2025.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that they will grant permission subject to the Standard Operating Procedure framed by the Government of Tamilnadu, to conduct ''Masi Festival'' to be held on 19.02.2025.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondents to grant permission to the writ petitioner to conduct ''Masi Festival'' scheduled to be held on Page No. 2 of 4
19.02.2025, based upon the representation of the writ petitioner dated 24.01.2025, by strictly following the Standard Operating Procedure framed by the Government of Tamilnadu. The petitioner is also ensure not to create any law and order problem or without causing any disturbance to the general public. The respondents herein are further directed to give adequate police protection at the time of ''Masi Festival'' scheduled to be held on 19.02.2025 and ensure the safety of the public, who are all participating in the said festival.
4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
