The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking direction against the Respondent Police not to harass the Petitioner. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions from the Respondent Police submitted that the Respondents No.4 to 6 had preferred a complaint stating that the Petitioner owe them Rs.2,83,30,840/- but he had paid only Rupees one crore and odd for the outstanding regarding procurement of Rice for distribution. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) further submitted that they are ready to abide by the circular of the Director 2/5

General of Police, Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu State, Chennai -4 issued in Rc.No.892914/X1/2020 dated 12.03.2021. The third Respondent had issued summons to both the parties. The Respondents No.4 to 6 appeared before the third Respondent, but the Petitioner did not appear. If the Petitioner appear before the third Respondent, he is ready to close the civil dispute.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, the Petitioner is directed to approach the Civil Court for getting appropriate relief. 5.With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
