(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for a direction directing the DRAT, Chennai to take up and hear the pending appeal bearing Diary No.1995 of 2024 at the earliest.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents stated that now the respondents have no objection for numbering the appeal filed by the petitioner in Diary No.1995 of 2024 on the file of the DRAT, Chennai.

3.In view of the above, the DRAT, Chennai, is directed to number the appeal filed by the petitioner in Diary No.1995 of 2024 and list the same for hearing.

4.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
