ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner in any suitable post on compassionate ground in the light of the order passed by the 1st respondent vide GO.(2D) No.77 dated 30.01.2004. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the father of the petitioner was permitted to retire from service, on the ground of medical invalidation by GO(2D) No.77 dated 30.01.2004, wherein, appointment to the legal heirs, on compassionate ground was also directed to be provided. So, in this connection, the petitioner and his father sent representations repeatedly, but of no avail. Hence, this writ petition.

3.Under such facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the respondents, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.09.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of GO(2D) No.77 Revenue [Pani 6(2)] Department dated 30.01.2004 and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
