JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard both sides.

2.By the order impugned in this Writ Appeal, the learned single Judge has only called upon the appellants to consider the claim of the writ petitioner and pass an appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law. No observation has been made on merits. When the issue is left to the discretion of the appellate authority, we fail to understand as to why this Writ Appeal was filed. A writ appeal can be filed only if the appellant is aggrieved by the order of the learned single Judge. In the present case, we are not able to notice any grievance that can be complained of. The time limit stipulated by the learned single Judge stands extended by four more weeks from today (13.06.2025). 2/4

3.With the aforesaid observation, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
