ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.554/2023 as expeditiously as possible, within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation in this case is still pending and they have to examine some witnesses and they will complete the investigation within one (1) month from the date of this order.

3. This Court has considered the rival submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused all the materials available on record.

4. In this case the FIR was registerd in the year 2023 and still the respondent police have not completed the investigation. However, considering the nature of offence and the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant one (1) month time to complete the

investigation. Accordingly, the respondent-police is directed to complete the investigation and to file a final report within one month from the date of this order.
