O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioners to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.69 of 2025 dated 20.01.2025, on the file of the first respondent police, for the offences under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 336(2) and 340(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Act, 2023 and quash the same.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on both sides represented that there is a dispute in respect of arranging flight tickets and thereby, the defacto complainant lodged the complaint. Now, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and to that effect, they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court.
3. The defacto-complainant and all the accused are present and this Court enquired about the compromise. The defacto-complainant represented that due to some money dispute, he lodged the complaint. Now, he received a sum of Rs.1,95,000/- from the petitioners and they Page No. 2 of 5
entered into a compromise. A compromise memo, dated 04.02.2025 signed by the parties and their respective counsel, is also filed before this Court.
4. This Court has perused the terms of the compromise memo.
5. Considering the nature of the offences and considering the fact that they have also entered into a compromise, this Court is inclined to allow this petition by quashing the FIR in Crime No.69 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police.
6. Recording the said compromise memo, this petition is allowed and the First Information Report in Crime No.69 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police, is quashed.
