Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to issue necessary direction to the 2nd Respondent to issue the Community Certificate as Hindu Vanniyar for the Petitioners two sons namely A.Sudhakaran and
A.Magendran, based on the petitioners representation dated 15/11/2017 made to the 1st Respondent.

2.By consent of either side, these writ petitions are taken up for disposal.
3.All the writ petitioners claming community certificate for their children. Two of the petitioners viz., the petitioner in W.P (MD).No.2736 of 2018, Thiru.Alagesan, S/o.Veerappan, has produced his community certificate issued in his name by the Head Quarters Deputy Tahsildar, Melur and the petitioner in W.P(MD).No.2735 of 2018, viz., Kalaiselvi, W/o.Late.Rajendran, has produced the copy of the community certificate issued to C.Rajendran, her Late husband. 4.All the petitioners claim that they have submitted their applications for grant of community certificate for their children in person, in the office of the second respondent, on 07.07.2017. 5.The learned Government Advocate submits that as of now the procedure for application of community certificate has to be made through online and therefore, he would submit that the petitioners make appropriate applications, which can be directed to be considered by the second respondent.
6.In the light of the above, these writ petitions are disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate applications in the proper format and in the proper manner before the second respondent and if such applications are filed giving full particulars, the second respondent is directed to enquire into the matter and pass orders on merits in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
