O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme on 15.01.2018 from 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in pursuant to the Thai Pongal Festival at Sri Nallandar Thirukkovil, Pappapatti, Rasalipatti Post, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ dated 18.12.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programs such as 'Adalum Padalum' dance Programme, likewise, from 07.00 PM till 11.00 PM on 15.01.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that, they have already given a representation dated 18.12.2017 to the respondent and no order has been passed till now. 3.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents has not raised any serious objection.

4.The second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 18.12.2017 and dispose of the same on or before 10.01.2018.

5.with the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
