ORDER

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks the limited relief of expeditious disposal of the appeal pending with the second respondent from 06.02.2024. 3.Heard Ms.R.Paranjothi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.

4.In view of the above, an admitted position that the appeal of the petitioner is pending with the first respondent, seeking to cancel the erroneous entry and mutation of records, the said appeal shall be disposed of by the first respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from today. 2/4
