Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned refusal check slip in Refusal No.RFL/Kayathar/2/2025 dated 31.01.2025 and quash the same, consequently direct the respondent to register the settlement deed without insisting for the production of original parental document within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The issue raised in this Writ Petition is squarely covered by a judgment of this Court in Ibunu Mohaideen vs. The Sub Registrar, Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram District, W.P.(MD)No.3347 of 2025 dated 20.02.2025. Consequently, I am not in a position to sustain the impugned order.

2. Therefore, following the said judgment in W.P.(MD)No.3347 of 2025 dated 20.02.2025, the Writ Petition is allowed. The impugned Refusal Check Slip issued by the respondent in RFL/Kayathar/2/2025 dated 31.01.2025, is quashed. The Sub Registrar shall register the document, which he has refused to do so under the impugned order.
