Respondent PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant approval to the appointments made to Mr.K.Saravanakumar in the post of Watchman in the petitioner's school by considering the proposal sent by the petitioner dated 17.11.2017 with all consequential benefits within the time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner and Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent. 2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner is an Educational Institution. It appointed one K.Sarvanakumar as Gardener cum Sweeper and E.Sudhakaran as Watchman. The appointments are in respect of sanctioned posts. They are also eligible to be so appointed. The management submitted its proposal dated 17.11.2017 in this regard. Till date, the respondent has not passed orders thereon. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the undisputed nature of facts involved in this case, the respondent is directed to accord approval of the aforesaid appointments of the two non teaching staffs in the petitioner's school. The respondent shall issue orders for according approval within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also disburse grant in aid towards salary and other benefits forthwith.
