The daughter of the petitioner had gone missing on 29.01.2024. Hence, a complaint was lodged by the petitioner to the second respondent Police on 01.02.2024 and the same was registered in C.S.R.No.93/2024. Alleging that the second respondent has not shown any interest to trace the petitioner's daughter, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's daughter has eloped with one Yugendhar and they have got married on 11.02.2024 under the Special Marriage Act. The petitioner's daughter and the said Yugendhar are present before this Court today.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, who appeared through video conference, submits that the petitioner's daughter has spoken to the petitioner and the petitioner has no issues after being assured of the security of his daughter. Hence, the learned counsel seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Habeas Corpus Petition.
4. Recording the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
